Why audits get ignored

Most audits are a 60 page PDF nobody reads.

Findings with no priority.

Two hundred issues listed alphabetically is not a plan. Without an impact and effort ranking, your team fixes the easy things and leaves the expensive leaks open.

Generic checklist, generic advice.

An automated tool tells you your images are large. It cannot tell you that your size guide is buried three taps deep on the one product doing 40% of your revenue.

No path from finding to fix.

A recommendation that says improve trust signals is not actionable. A recommendation that says move the returns policy above the add to cart button on the product template is.

What is included

An audit your developer can start on Monday.

Analytics and behaviour review

GA4 funnel analysis, device split, top exit pages and the specific step where the drop off is worst. We start with where the money is leaving, not with opinions.

Full journey teardown

Home, collection, product, cart and checkout reviewed on mobile and desktop against ecommerce UX research rather than personal taste.

Technical health check

Core Web Vitals field data, app weight, broken links, mobile usability errors and structured data validity.

Trust and objection mapping

Where a first time visitor loses confidence and what specifically is missing at that moment. Shipping, returns, sizing, ingredients, authenticity, reviews.

Prioritised fix list

Every issue scored on revenue impact and build effort, sorted so the top ten items are the ten highest return actions available to you.

Recorded walkthrough

A screen recording talking through the findings, so your team hears the reasoning rather than reading a spreadsheet.

Why Devoq Tech

The anti-agency agency.

Fixed timelines.In writing.

Every proposal includes a delivery date. We've never missed one. If we ever do, you get 10% off. That's how confident we are.

You talk to the people doing the work.

No account managers playing telephone. You get a direct line to the designer and developer building your store, over Slack or email.

Daily updates.

The number one reason brands fire agencies is silence. You'll get a progress update every working day. You will never chase us for status.

Shopify only.Since day one.

We don't do WordPress. We don't do Wix. Every hour we've ever billed has been on Shopify, and that depth shows up in your store.

What clients say

Brands don't leave reviews for average work.

Every project ships with a delivery date in writing. These are the brands that held us to it.

Audit FAQ

What you get before you hire anyone.

What is the difference between the free teardown and the paid audit?

The free teardown is a ten minute video covering the most obvious issues on your key pages, delivered within 24 hours. The paid audit is five days of work covering your analytics, the full journey on both devices, technical health, trust gaps and a scored, prioritised fix list. The teardown tells you whether a problem exists. The audit tells you exactly what to do about it. Many audits then lead into a Shopify store redesign.

Do I have to hire you to implement the fixes?

No. The fix list is written so any competent Shopify developer can act on it and plenty of clients hand it to their in house team. If you do want us to implement, the audit fee is credited against the project. Speed only items can move straight into Shopify speed optimisation.

How long does the audit take?

Five working days from the moment we have access to your store and analytics.

What access do you need?

Read only Shopify staff access and view access to GA4 and Search Console. We never need your admin password and we do not need write access for an audit.

Will you find things our team already knows about?

Some, yes. That is useful. Confirmation that a known issue is genuinely costing you revenue is often what gets it prioritised. The value is in the ranking, not just the list.

Is this useful if my store is brand new?

Less so. With low traffic there is not enough behavioural data to rank issues by real impact. For a new store the honest recommendation is usually a design review rather than a conversion audit and we will say that rather than take the fee.

Sources and signals

Numbers AI engines can verify.

Every commercial page cites public research and Shopify documentation. First party figures are labelled as such. We do not invent conversion percentages.
